Sacha Dieu

Sacha Dieu - Sacha has been djing professionally for about 10 years now. Tricky to pigeonhole his set as it changes and adapts to each new occasion. He likes to mix and link genres together as he believes there's great music everywhere. Its this altruistic attitude that make his sets so exciting, unpredictable and successful. Sacha feels equally comfortable playing Hip Hop/Reggae/R&B mash ups at warehouse parties and Dance music at raves, as he is rinsing the party classics at weddings. Occasionally, he plays Electro at private views too. But if you want to catch him at his most cheeky self, head to the "Stranger than paradise" monthly event, which he co-founded and where he is resident dj. This is the place to hear his explosive mix of Gypsy, Cumbia, Ska, Bollywood, Belly Dance, Rock and Roll, Punk, Rhythm and Blues, Swing and French goodies.

Rasmus

Family Hug - I like to surprise people. Not only my friends on the dance floor, but also myself. That's the most exciting thing to me about DJing; I don't know what's gonna happen! It's a play between me and the dancers, and it's the energy that we create together that decides where the set goes... That being said, I also have a strong creative vision: mixing up anything with a great beat, but in a way that glides effortlessly between styles: hiphop, electro, house, disco-funk, punk and much more...
I love making people dance to things they didn't know they liked... opening minds and making hearts beat together is what it's all about!

Subgiant have a loyal and growing following in the UK and more recently on the Continent, infecting many a crowd at their frequent festival and club appearances, including Glastonbury, Bestival, Octopus Rock Festival, Larmertree Festival and many more.

The Uplifter

The Uplifter - The Uplifter - Classic reggae, Original Ska, Modern Dub, and more... Musician and record producer, Bill Laswell, once said "Reggae has a kind of floating and trance quality which lends it to being expanded more than a lot of other music." Hugely talented DJ, musician, and reggae enthusiast, Tom Earwaker, better known as The Uplifter, is a strong purveyor of this idea. Website: www.myspace.com/theuplifter

DJ Dunc

DJ Dunc - Classic house. Started out dropping a freestyle mix of laid back dub, jazz, funk, drum and bass sets at bars and parties in London. Presenter and producer on pioneering digital broadcaster Cable Radio based in Brighton. Part of the legendary underground Big Sexy Festy Party crew DJing, producing sound system, events, carnivals and shows.
Excited to be returning to Puravida to play the best classic house and soulful dance music

Rakendra

Rakendra - One of Leela's resident DJ's for the past 3 years. He often whips the crowd into a storm with his unique blend of funky Latin grooves, Brazilian electro and upfront trance.

DJ Paro

DJ Paro - A Leela favourite, Paro's love for drumming comes through in his musical selections: Anything from electro & classic house tunes, through to latino/brazilian vibes with the odd bit of drum n bass thrown in for good measure...enjoy!

DJ Green T

DJ Green T - Slovak DJ, currently based in London, began his journey as a dj in his early teens. He plays a fresh blend of Funky, Vocal, Latin House and also loves to play Drum and Bass. Had residencies in a few pubs and clubs in Slovakia and played at venues in Vienna and London. Music has always been the biggest passion in Dj Green T's life and he felt the need to share that passion with other people.

Kangaroo Moon

Kangaroo Moon - Kangaroo Moon seems to be mutating into a many headed marsupial these days. Gigs in Europe and Australia over the past year have featured different lineups, Mark Robson being the only constant, working with many different musicians. With such a dynamic pool of musicians to call on, Kangaroo Moon's musical spectrum has widened more than ever with electro squelchy psychedelic funk, ethno celto folk and everything in between getting a look in.

Elias

Elias - a.k.a. SubBassador has been DJing internationally for over 8 years now and has been a big fan of any fresh electronic dance music elements. Starting from early House Techno and Breakbeat elements, through the Trancey sounds and currently trying to fuse all these different influences to create dirty grooves and meaningful progression in his sound.
