Here's a selection of the workshops regularly on at Puravida.
For the actual line-up this time see the schedule on the Events Page. We also have a Healing Centre open offering massage and other therapies. Meditations at Osho Leela are mostly active meditations and social meditations. Both involve quite a lot of body movement and in social meditations you interact with other participants also. All workshops and meditations are led by qualified and experienced people. Please bring loose clothing

Tantric Tango - with Frances - You’ll be introduced to the basic elements of the beautiful, sensuous Argentine tango. We’ll use this partner dance as a way of bringing out different aspects of ourselves and how we relate to others – from soft, intimate connections to dynamic, sexy and playful interactions. You’ll begin to explore different types of intention in the dance and learn ways of building trust and confidence. You don’t need to have any previous experience of partner dance and you don’t need to be good at remembering ‘steps’... plenty of left feet are very welcome!

Trance Dance, with Kalid - Trance Dance Ritual... breath, let go, become the dance of life! The Trance Dance Ritual is a ritual program that is designed to provide a exploratory spiritual journey through the combination of music, sound effects, body movement and the unique use of a blindfold or bandana as a tool for stimulating a deep 'trance' state. The heart of the evening involves the actual 'inner journey' or 'Trance Dance'. There will be a informal Q & A opportunity at the end of each ritual for anyone seeking more information about the ritual itself.

Funk-Style, with Paul - Funkstyles are dance styles born out of the 1970’s L.A dance scene which consists mainly of street styles of dance created by the youth culture of that era! We will be covering a little on some of these styles within a dance routine framework using old funk music and new Gstyle digitally banging fownky tracks! Some character work and techniques will also be worked on! Come and get your groove on! I have been dancing for 5 years approx in these styles with a formal background in dance training! I look forward to seeing you there! |
